Trail's End Beach is now PRIVATE!
Beginning May 2011, our beach will only be open for registered campers and their guests. It will not be open to the public for day use.
Trail's End and Lake Access
Trail's End only provides lake access to their campers, residents, people who launch boats, or people who rent our boats, pavilion and their guests.
We are not a place where people can be dropped off and/or picked up by folks who are already out on the lake. The State of New York has provided a boat launch off of Route 365 as well as the DEC run Hinckley Day Use Area. You can find information about the state beach at the DEC website here.
Please note, Trail's End does not permit the use of metal detectors on our beach.

Boat Launch is OPEN in 2012!
Our Boat Launch provides great access to Hinckley Reservoir! We've got a concrete pad and a floating dock to get in smoothly! We've also got a great parking area, porta-jons and flush toilets, a full service camp store AND Pizza and Wings, ice cream, soda and more! So common over and Launch your boat at Trail's End!
2012 Launch Fee: $10*
*Per boat on one trailer or up to two wave runners on one trailer.
ATTENTION! Our beach is no longer open to the public. If you have additional cars of people going out on your boat, they are charged at $7 per car and they must enter with you or they will not be let in. Anyone coming early must wait for the boater to arrive.

Launching Rules:
- NO Overnight Parking (ever, so don't ask)
- NO Swimming in the launch area.
- Obey NO WAKE in the bay and respect surrounding property owners.
- No blocking the launch or leaving the boat in the water on shore unattended.
- Pets must be leashed and picked-up after.
- Additional cars must accompany boat being launched. We do not allow people to park here for any other reason.
- ABSOLUTELY NO Parking for camping on the island can be done at Trail's End.
- Boats not launched and pulled out in the same day are subject to a second launching fee.
