Hinckley Reservoir is a 7-mile-long, man-made reservoir in the Adirondacks. Recreational activities on the lake include: boating and personal watercraft, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, tubing and "boarding". The lake has provided us with a sandy beach that our campers love! Our beach is private and just for our campers.
Because it is a drinking water reservoir, Hinckley's lake level fluctuates based on water demand. When the lake level is high -- recreational boating is the primary focus as well as fishing and swimming. When the water level is down -- we just have more beach!! No matter what the lake level -- Trail's End will remain that great spot off the beaten path that makes the trip worthwhile! Adirondack camping at it's best! Check the current lake level HERE!
